SUPPORT THE CHILDREN
Did you know?
The rate of childhood obesity has tripled since the 1970's. According to the CDC, as of 2023, 1 in 5 children in the U.S. is obese with that number increasing annually.
Studies have shown that the obesity rate is 8.3 times greater for children who watch TV for 5 hours a day as compared to children who watch TV for 2 hours or less per day.

The CDC conducted a fast food survey from 2015-2018 and found that 36.3% of children and adolescents ages 2-19 ate fast food daily.

Consequences of poor dietary and exercise habits:
Being overweight as a kid can stick around and cause lasting physical issues that they'll have to deal with for their whole lives.

More than 85% of children who are diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes are overweight or obese. Additionally research has also shown that the likelihood of obese children developing asthma increases 92% compared to normal-weight children.
